Biography
Based in our Cambridge office, Joanna joined Ensors as a partner in 2019 having spent the previous 14 years at a central London firm. A chartered accountant (ACA) and chartered tax advisor (CTA), she won the Institute Medal for best overall performance in her CTA exams in 2010.
Joanna works closely with owner managed businesses and individuals providing a joined-up tax and accounting service to the business and the individual at the helm. She advises on all areas of personal taxation including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
Specialisms include working with entrepreneurs and serial investors in the development of new business ventures, charities and not-for-profit organisations and advising individuals moving to the UK. Joanna has a particular interest in working with GP practices and doctors as part of the Ensors healthcare team and is the nominated AISMA (Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants) specialist for the firm.
She also has expertise in advising art galleries, dealers, artists and collectors which is supported by her membership of PAIAM (Professional Advisors to the International Art Market).
