Acquisition of Hereward Car and Truck Components

Hereward Car and Truck Components Limited has been acquired by the Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), a multi-national entity.
The Ensors team, led by Simon Martin, provided step by step advice to the retiring shareholder, Shaun Saddington regarding the sale of a business which Shaun and his wife Jan had built up over many years.
Specifically Ensors assisted with:
- Initial valuation
- Negotiations
- Reviewing the heads of terms
- Pulling together the information to answer the buyers due diligence requests
- Reviewing and commenting on the share purchase agreement
On completion of the deal Mr Saddington said “This was an extremely emotional and stressful period for my wife and myself. Simon and the Ensors team were 100% supportive from start to finish and Ensors provided the required information on time under considerable pressure, to meet the completion deadline. AAG will now integrate Hereward’s sites into their current business whilst Shaun and Jan are looking forward to moving forward to the next journey in their lives.
