We are pleased to announce that we are the proud sponsors of the 2020 St Eds’ Running Festival organised by HaverSports.
Held at Moreton Hall’s Skyliner Sports Centre on Sunday 25 October, the flagship event will see hundreds of runners of all ages and abilities compete in their choice of marathon, half marathon, 10k, and family fun run.
Chris Barrett, partner at Ensors, said: “We are really pleased to be sponsoring the 2020 St Eds’ Running Festival. Now in its fourth year, the event has gone from strength to strength and has become an annual highlight among the West Suffolk community, attracting people of all fitness capabilities.” He continues, “We have many keen runners within the firm and I look forward to taking part, along with my colleagues, in the autumn”.
HaverSports director Jack Tappin said: “We pleased to confirm the launch of St Eds’ Runs – the Ensors Running Festival 2020. The festival is always the biggest event of our calendar, and with the overwhelmingly positive feedback from last year’s year, we’re looking forward to making this one bigger and better.
“Since we launched HaverSports in 2014, we’ve raised over £38,000 for local charities, welcoming more than 6,700 athletes to our events across the region. It’s only with the support of generous businesses like Ensors, who share our vision and passion for supporting people to lead healthy lifestyles while raising thousands for good causes, that we’re able to achieve these targets, so we look to forward to raising even more money and welcoming even more athletes this year.”
The festival is again being held in aid of Bury Town Pastors, the charity to have been supported since its launch in 2017.
Bury Town Pastors Co-ordinator, Jo Copsey said: “We are looking forward to the 2020 St Eds’ Running Festival and are delighted that Ensors are sponsoring the event. We are so grateful that the festival is being held in aid of Bury Town Pastors, raising vital funds which will help us to continue to have Town Pastors patrolling the town centre streets on Friday and Saturday nights”.
All races will be chip timed, with medals and goodies for all finishers.
