Staff at Ensors Ipswich and Saxmundham offices raise over £4300 for St Elizabeth Hospice as part of the Hospice’s 2013 Accumulator challenge.
A whole host of fund raising events were organised in an attempt to raise much needed funds for the Hospice. Events included a 25 mile cycle ride around the back roads of north Suffolk by a team of 7 cyclists; a badminton tournament at Debenham Sports & Leisure club for local businesses – 13 teams entered with the overall winners being Dummett Copp; and a bracing dip in the North Sea at Felixstowe by a brave team of 7 ‘volunteers’! Other fundraising activities included dress down days, raffles and home baked cake sales.
This was the second year the St. Elizabeth Hospice has run an Accumulator challenge. The initiative sees the Hospice giving firms £50 to help them raise as much money as possible over a 3 month period.
