An intrepid team of accountants from Ensors Chartered Accountants are hoping to set a respectable, if not ground-breaking, time in the Ryan Insurance Ekiden Charity Relay on 15 July 2012.
Gail Mackie, Louise Burrell, Chris Barrett, Steven Locke, Scott Earey and Richard Brett will be putting their pens aside in favour of their trainers as they each take on one of the 6 stages of the full marathon course that makes up the relay. They are running to raise money for Cancer Campaign in Suffolk and donations can be made online.
The Ekiden Marathon Relay is organised by Ipswich JAFFA Running Club and sponsored by Ryan Insurance Group. The event takes place in the grounds of St Josephs College and all monies raised are donated to Cancer Campaign in Suffolk and Macmillan.
