At a packed Awards Ceremony held in the stunning St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds, the High Sheriff of Suffolk recognised a number of groups and volunteers – celebrating their work in the community.
Ensors were pleased to be part of this event, sponsoring The Suffolk Community Partnership of the Year Award. This award celebrates the way two or more groups or organisations have worked together to make a real difference in their community by addressing law and order issues.
Graham Page, Ensors’ partner, said “Throughout Suffolk a lot of voluntary-led groups work tirelessly to improve their communities – making our county a safer and better place to live. Ensors are pleased to support this work and recognise the efforts that, all too often, pass by unnoticed.”
The winner of The Suffolk Community Partnership of the Year Award 2012 was Ormiston Children & Families Trust and HMP Young Offender Institution Warren Hill. Graham Page presented the award to representatives from both organisations.
