Ensors advises Popworks Display on the sale of 100% of their share capital to Sarll Group Limited (SMP)

Ensors’ Corporate Finance team are pleased to announce their involvement in the sale of 100% of the share capital in the Popworks companies (Deferry Holdings Limited, Popworks Limited, Popworks Manufacturing Limited and Popworks Design Limited), being acquired by Sarll Group Limited (SMP).
Based in Bury St Edmunds, Popworks provides businesses with tailored point of sale display solutions, including design, manufacturing and installation services. Popworks history dates back decades, having accumulated a wealth of experience servicing their customers in the UK.
David Anderson and Aisling Anderson, the owners of their respective Popworks company, have built up the customer base and service offering since the inception of the business, and anticipate the acquisition by Sarll will continue its success for years to come.
SMP are based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, offering bespoke secure sheet metal cabinets for data and electronics industries, as well as point of sale products.
Ensors were engaged by the shareholders in June 2024, with Heads of Terms being agreed two months later. The deal subsequently completed in October 2024.

Simon Martin and Wilbur Wang provided the lead corporate finance advisory services from Ensors, with sale-side legal advice coming from the Ellisons team of David Heller and Osman Imtiaz.
