In advance of the October 2024 budget, Ensors advised the shareholders of B&D Plastic Limited and B&D Plastic (Midlands) Limited on the sale of the businesses to Flowmax Limited.
The final deal structure allowed two shareholders to step away from the business, with the other two shareholders continuing as owners, staying fully involved on a day-to-day basis, under the Flowmax umbrella.
Based in Walsall and Colchester, both entities operate under one ‘B&D Plastics’ brand, supplying pipework systems to a variety of market sectors, successfully doing so for the past 25 years. B&D Plastics prides itself on its ability to link installers, contractors and engineers with market leading pipework systems. B&D Plastics core belief is that their knowledge and expertise of pipework systems, coupled with a customer focused approach, solidifies their position as a first-class service provider.

Dave Arnold of B&D Plastics commented:
“We are delighted to have concluded this deal which will provide B&D with a platform for further growth. Dave Edge and I are excited by the prospect of taking the group to the next level with Flowmax’s support”.

Simon Martin of Ensors said:
“This was a deal with its challenges, but it was so refreshing to have both sides working together to find a fair outcome. A mentally challenging deal but a very enjoyable one. I have every confidence that B&D will only go on to bigger and better things from here.”
