Since the start of the Pandemic in 2020, Ensors have supported the company and its directors in adapting to the economic climate and achieving its aspirations of growing the profitability of the business and becoming one of the leading individual potato producers in the UK.

With Ensors long-established agriculture specialism, the partnership with P J Lee & Sons Limited proves mutually beneficial, with continuous learning and insight of rural businesses to expand and further the team’s expertise.

Led by Partner Jayson Lawson and Agriculture Director Hugh Simpson, Ensors provides audit, accountancy and corporate tax services to ensure continued compliance so that the company directors can focus on what they do best, putting the best potatoes on our dinner plates in whatever form they take.

A family run business, P J Lee & Sons, have been in operation for over 50 years and have always championed adaptability and innovation to help them succeed.

As one of the largest individual potato producers in the UK, their produce serves restaurants, big name brands, large scale catering establishments and the humble chip shop, spanning the length and breadth of the country and further afield.
