David Ewing

David started at Ensors in March 2016 as a Tax Manager in our Private Client Group. A seasoned tax specialist, he has extensive client experience in London and across East Anglia. After cutting his teeth at a firm that is now part of PwC, he spent 22 years with Grant Thornton, working in their Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Kettering and London offices. He then joined PKF in Norwich, staying on with the firm when it merged with BDO. In Bedford he focused on the food and agriculture sectors, while his time in the UK capital gave him an opportunity to work with high net worth clients, including those with residence and domicile issues.

A History and Politics graduate with an MA in European History from UEA, David qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1992 and the Association of Accounting Technicians in 1995. He provides expert, authoritative tax advice and guidance including on all aspects of capital taxation, mainly to unincorporated businesses and individuals, including farmers and landowners.
