Corporate Social Responsibility
We are passionately committed to the communities where we live and work, and strive to build strong long-term relationships within them. It’s important to be an ethical and responsible employer – we make sure we do the right thing for our clients, employees and local communities.
Living up to our core values
Our core values are vital to our success and underpin our strategy at Ensors. We treat our clients and employees as individuals; we strive for the highest levels of technical excellence; we build strong and long-term relationships; and, most importantly, we are genuinely approachable.
At Ensors we are focusing on three key goals:
Supporting local charities
As a firm, we regularly take part in fundraising events for a variety of local charities and we particularly see the importance in contributing to those charities which are close to our employees’ hearts. We are also proud sponsors of local events and details of these events can be found under our news page.
Minimising our impact on the environment
At Ensors, we understand the importance of protecting and sustaining the environment and we strive to reduce our carbon footprint.
We encourage recycling and have enabled online portals for communications between our clients and employees to reduce paper consumption. We also offer a cycle to work scheme for employees to purchase a bike and have a greener commute.
Our goal to reduce our carbon footprint is ongoing and we are continually implementing new initiatives to achieve this.
Creating a positive and supportive working environment
As a firm, we treat our employees and clients as ‘More Than Just a Number’ and provide a safe, supportive and thriving working environment where everyone really can be treated as individuals.
We recognise the importance of continued development and support our employees with their career path. We fund qualifications, training and professional memberships. We have connections with local schools, colleges and universities and regularly attend careers fairs and talks. We offer level four and level seven apprenticeships across all of our offices and strive to help our employees be the best they can be. We also offer work experience placements for secondary school students.
We support our employees by offering flexible working, permanent health insurance, private medical insurance and a group life scheme. We recognise the importance of mental health and have fully trained in-house mental health first aiders. We also offer an Employee Assistance Programme for our employees.
We recognise that having fun together is vital for a successful business. We regularly host social events including our annual summer party, Christmas parties, sporting fixtures, theatre trips and quiz nights.
