Maddy Gardiner

After growing up on an arable family farm, Maddy decided to pursue a career in accountancy whilst studying for a BSc Agricultural Business Management degree at the University of Reading. Having always enjoyed working with numbers, she excelled in understanding the business and financial aspect of the agriculture industry. She built on this keen interest by obtaining the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) whilst working at the Ensors Bury St Edmunds office.

Prior to joining Ensors, Maddy undertook two summer placements at a Grain Broker in Essex where she performed grain sampling. A fully rounded team member, with a solid foundation in farming and a lived experience understanding, Maddy was a natural fit to join the Ensors agriculture team and has been successfully advising clients since 2020.
