We are pleased to be event sponsors of St Ed’s Runs – the Ensors Running Festival – to be held on Sunday 31 October 2021 at Bury St Edmunds’ Skyliner Sports Centre.
Chris Barrett, partner at Ensors Chartered Accountants, said: “We are really pleased to be sponsoring the 2021 St Eds’ Running Festival after such a tumultuous year and delighted to be offering the first 200 registrations a free Ensors running shirt*.” He continued, “The event has gone from strength to strength since starting in 2016 and has become an annual highlight among the West Suffolk community, attracting people of all fitness capabilities. We have many keen runners within the firm and I look forward to taking part, along with my colleagues, in the autumn.”
HaverSports director Jack Tappin said: “Last year we had to take the difficult decision to cancel our events as the country went into lockdown, and since then we’ve been waiting for certainty before opening further events for entries. Now that Covid restrictions are easing off, we’re pleased to be able to host our final two events of 2021.”
He continued, “We hope that athletes across the region are looking forward to getting back out there racing, and we’re certainly looking forward to hosting them. We’ll be providing our customary premium athletics experience, working in partnership with local businesses while continuing to raise thousands for local charities. We hope to return to a full calendar in 2022.”
* The 200 ‘early bird’ shirt offer will be split across three races and allocated as follows: 100 for the 10k race; 70 for the half marathon and 30 for the marathon.
