Established in 2003, Ascot Lloyd Financial Services is a firm of independent financial advisors based in Wokingham with advisors working across the UK, including East Anglia. Over the last 11 years growth has been organic, enhanced by a series of acquisitions – the latest being IFG Financial Services Ltd, John Siddalls Limited and Berkeley Jacobs Limited, whose primary bases are in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and London.
The Ensors Corporate Finance team were instructed to undertake due diligence on behalf of Ascot Lloyd and the deal exchanged in March 2014 with completion pending, subject to conditions including regulatory consent. The initial purchase consideration was £3.5 million, to be paid on completion; and there will be a maximum of £5.6 million contingent deferred consideration.
