With just four weeks to go until the Ipswich Building Society 2018 10k Twilight Road Race, pictures of runners training in their ‘sunshine yellow’ shirts are appearing on twitter in the hope of winning a free place in next year’s race.
Entry for the 2018 race is now closed as all 1500 places are taken.
The shirts, sponsored by Ensors Chartered Accountants, were allocated to the first 1000 runners to sign up for the 2018 race that will take place on Friday 3 August. The most original five pictures tweeted using #runipswich will win the coveted free places, and with places filling up in record time this year these automatic entries are certainly sought after.
Fiona Hotston Moore, partner at Ensors, said “It is great to see this event grow in popularity year on year and we are thrilled to support it for a third year. As a firm we have 20 runners taking part all of whom will be sporting their sunshine yellow shirts.” She continued, “the picture competition is also growing in popularity and we have had some great entries so far.”
To enter the competition simply wear your Twilight 2018 t-shirt when training and tweet your pictures to @IpswichTwilight using #runipswich
