Members of staff at Ensors were delighted to be part of the winning team in the Ashton KCJ Charity Bowling Event held at Kingpin in Ipswich on Thursday 27th March raising over £750 for three very worthwhile charities.
There was a total of 12 teams taking part in the annual competition, but Ensors fought of the competition to come on top for the second consecutive year beating second place by over 70 points.
Chris Barrett, Manager at Ensors said “We started off slowly and were struggling to get any strikes but after a quick team talk we started to claw our way back into contention and pushed on in the following game. It is always a good event to attend – but after winning it for the last two years I’m not sure we will be welcome next year.”
The money raised will be divided and given to Macmillan Cancer Support, emergency medical charity Magpas and Nelsons Journey – a charity that supports bereaved children and young people.
