On Friday 15 June David Chittock from Ensors Chartered Accountants, and 12 others from Otley Village, set out to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge. They left the ‘flatlands’ of Suffolk at 2.45am on Friday morning and arrived in Glencoe at lunchtime, starting their attempt with Ben Nevis – the highest of the three peaks.
It was then on to Scafell Pike in the Lake District early on Saturday morning and finally down to Snowdon for the final ascent on Sunday morning.
The team are raising money for Cancer Research and St Elizabeth Hospice and so far have raised an impressive £1,323 – which is being doubled by Barclays Bank.
