We are pleased to announce that we have selected the Maids Head Hotel as winner of The Best Independent Hotel award at the Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2019.
The awards ceremony was held at OPEN in Norwich on Thursday 28 February and celebrated the work of the highly valuable industry and highlighted those that excel within it.
Joining the Maids Head Hotel in the running for the award were The Dial House at Reepham, Tuddenham Mill in Newmarket and The Oaksmere which is situated in Brome.
Leisure & Tourism partner Fiona Hotston Moore said “The Maids Head is a hotel Norfolk can really be proud of. We were particularly impressed with the programme of staff training and development, which is clearly reflected in the level of service delivered by every team member, and the individual touches in the rooms.”
Christine Malcolm, General Manager at the Maids Head said “We are absolutely delighted to have won the Best Independent Hotel award. This is a real accolade for the Maids Head which has undergone a massive refurbishment programme over the past 5 years. The whole team are committed to providing exceptional customer service to all our guests who visit our historic hotel and we are thrilled that the judges recognised this passion”
