Ensors are thrilled to announce that Forensic Accounting and Professional Firms partner, Fiona Hotston Moore, has won the ‘Partner of the Year’ award at the British Accountancy Awards 2017.
The British Accountancy Awards celebrates the companies and individuals that expertly design and implement accountancy strategies to enhance business performance. To reach the final stage of this competition, Fiona had to demonstrate her excellence in the profession and was judged against the following four key criteria; professionalism, measurable success, innovation and role model.
Managing Partner, David Scrivener says “Fiona joined Ensors as a partner in 2014 and established the Forensic Accounting team. In just three years, she has harnessed her technical expertise and leadership skills to see a doubling of the fee income for the Corporate Finance and Forensics team. In addition, Fiona is a role model to those looking to develop their skills, breathing new life into the Ensors HR function, recruitment and digital marketing strategy. She is highly respected amongst the firm’s leaders, colleagues and clients alike.”
Fiona had some strong competition for the award as she was shortlisted along with seven other partners from accountancy firms across the country. She was the only female shortlisted for the award and, having been shortlisted in 2015, is pleased to have walked away with the trophy for this year.
Speaking about her win Fiona says “I’m truly delighted to win this prestigious award, but in many ways this is really a firm award as none of my achievements would have been possible without the effort and support of my colleagues and fellow professionals. It was a fantastic evening and we enjoyed the celebrations on the night with the best in the accounting industry.”
