The Ipswich Sporting Lunch club met at Wherstead Park on 22 September 2017 and was pleased to welcome guest of honour, Olympic Skeleton Bob Gold Medalist, Amy Williams MBE.
After a delicious lunch, over 240 local business people heard from the Olympian as she told her story before she presented Ipswich Basketball star Maya Price with a SportsAid grant. Maya represented Great Britain in the Under 18 Women at the European Championships in August 2017, in which she assisted them to a very respectable 4th place finish out of 24 participating nations.
