The Saints have been named as one of the country’s best high streets in the annual Great British High Street Competition.
The culmination of St Nicholas and St Peters Streets in Ipswich, was recognised in the top 5 of the Local Centre category, just missing out on going through to the public vote to decide the winner. The two streets are host to not only Ensors but a whole other range of businesses varying from recruiters, eateries, independent homeware boutiques, coffee shops and beauty salons.
Ensors made it’s first move onto the iconic St Nicholas Street by moving into Saxon House in 1980. We then moved to Cardinal House in 1986, former home of the town’s Hippodrome Theatre, and couldn’t be prouder of the streets recognition. Many staff are aware of the streets potential and have frequented the local businesses over the years, supporting them in their growth.
