Seven teams of Students from Suffolk schools competed for this year’s Suffolk Young Enterprise Business Awards with Thomas Mills High School the winners of the ‘Financial Systems & Results’ award – sponsored by Ensors.
The annual competition took place at BT’s Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath, on Tuesday 22 April and was the culmination of the Young Enterprise Company Programme in Suffolk, where students run their own business during the academic year, creating a product or service, marketing and selling in a “real world” environment, producing financial reports that included profit & loss accounts and balance sheets. The overall winner for this years competition was Thomas Mills High School with their project ‘Yento’.
