Katie Varney

Having originally joined Ensors in 2002, Katie developed a solid understanding of all aspects of the firm’s work by spending time in the Business Services, Corporate Services and Private Client groups, before specialising in Corporate Tax and qualifying as a chartered tax advisor in January 2013.

After a two-year hiatus in industry, during which she headed the Corporate Tax Team of a large multi-national group, Katie re-joined Ensors as a Corporate Tax Partner in September 2019. Primarily based in the Bury St Edmunds office, Katie works across East Anglia providing expert advice on corporate tax affairs to a wide variety of clients, from self-employed consultants and small owner-managed business to large multi-nationals.  She enjoys the friendliness of working in a close-knit team and finds it interesting and inspiring to work with a diverse client base.
